About Us
What does it mean to be a part of FVP?
Why are we different?
We are the organisation that FOCUSES on the student's VOICE! Being a singer means having confidence in your voice. You need to know it... trust it... and believe in it. For that to happen, you need a strong vocal technique coach as a guide to learn about YOUR voice... because we are all different... but the voice generally works the same.
What does "FIRST Vocal Program" mean?
FOCUS
INT0NATION
RESONANCE
SUPPORT
TONE
These are the building blocks to getting & maintaining a healthy voice. They are not what makes a great singer. There is more to singing that having great technique. But we all have to start somewhere. Once the "FIRST" principals are supplied and applied instictively, the student can move to other areas that turn a good singer into a great singer!
Our program is a step-by-step process that is designed around EACH singer at the initial consultation (1 hour - FREE OF CHARGE). We can learn TOGETHER where your voice is right now - and where you need it to be... and most importantly... the timeline you require for your voice to be at a level suitable for performance OUTSIDE the sessions.

Is "FVP" for you?
There is no student who we will not work with.
However, we believe that the best way to keep both student and coach motivated is to work with people who are wanting to improve by doing the assigned work. If you don't intend to practise, then FVP may not be the right fit for you. But don't worry - there are other schools & organisations out there who have lots of singing sessions for both learning and social interaction.
